  The Sunflower Princess program is a mentoring  program for young ladies ages 5—12, who have an interest in learning about citizenship, leadership, volunteerism, and have a future interest in the Miss Leavenworth County, Miss Wooded Hills programs and Miss America Program. The Princesses will have the opportunity to meet with Miss Kansas, Miss Kansas Outstanding Teen and Miss Wooded Hills 2009.  Each young lady who participates will be given a tiara and will be included in the evening gown portion of our production as well as a special production number for just the princesses. The cost to participate in the program is $40 which includes the tiara and two tickets to the pageant. This program is not a competition, the girls will all participate and will all receive a tiara as a keepsake. .
